COMPANY UPDATES
NEW FACILITY
+ We have purchased a 3 acre parcel of land and are preparing for construction of a custom-built 12,000~ sq/ft facility. 3 acres is more than we need at this moment, but it will allow us to expand with new facilities as we grow in the future without moving again.
+ We have a meeting early next week to finalize the design of the building. We hope to have more information in a dedicated post soon.
FUTURE PRODUCTS
BAUER LITE
FLOW ANALYSIS
+ While doing final prep of tooling, we found some design flaws that caused issues with different functionalities of the design. We had to correct them and get one last prototype to ensure everything was good. Adjustments have been completed and we are now awaiting the flow analysis on the parts before moving forward to tooling.

+ Injection-molded Polycarbonate
+ Bauer Lite PCB will be the same form factor as (and compatible with) Bauer 2
+ Bauer Lite plates will be the same as (and compatible with) Bauer 2
+ Bauer Lite top/bottom case is not the same as Bauer 2 metal versions (i.e. not compatible) because the injection molding process requires a different design for production
+ Bauer Lite mounting system will be the same style as the Bauer 2, with neoprene pads and taco bumpers

+ We have opened up a list for anyone who is waiting for the release of this project, since we are growing closer. This list is separate from our normal newsletter and will provide updates specifically about Bauer Lite, as we get closer to the release. This will also help us make decision on how we will handle the launch, by knowing how many people are wanting a board.

❗️GMK has given us estimated shipping dates on all pending projects up to DMG 3. A lot of the projects have been delayed from the previous date they gave us. We are just as frustrated with these delays as you are, but resin shortages are something that is out of their hands. See below for each projects' specific update.

+ We got an update from the operations supervisor this morning that the remaining 6 pallets were received at the freight warehouse last night, and they are scheduling final delivery to our warehouse for Monday. 🎉 This means we will be able to start fulfilling groupbuy orders next week after we have inventoried all product. All groupbuy participants can expect a shipping notification email with tracking this month!
