NEW COLOR
After a ton of requests from the community, Black is here! No fancy marketing name. It's just what you want. Black. It goes with everything.
That's not all though. All black 1u and 2u housings will come DRY-LUBED from the factory for only $0.50 more per pack of 1u's ($2 more for a full 60/65% build). $2 more to not have to lube the housings sounds too good to be true doesn't it? Well its not. It's real. (you should still lube your 2u wires and stabs though†)
2U HOUSING UPDATES
We discovered the mold was damaged during production on round 1 causing some users to encounter binding. That has been repaired.
With tight tolerances comes more opportunities for binding, so while we were at it we also polished the inside of the 2u's to help eliminate any chances of that happening.
Also, ALL 2u housings in all colors will come dry-lubed!
DYNAPAK RESTRUCTURING
This will be a little wordy, but stay with me. When we came up with the idea of "DynaPak", it was created to be "everything you need to build a DynaCap board". This meant switch parts, plate, and PCB. And we were strict about making sure that if something was called a DynaPak, it had all those parts.
Then last minute we came up with the idea for bundles, which is just a quick 1-click way to add all the individual parts to the cart at once, to make sure you have everything you need and dont have to worry about forgetting anything. We called these "Bundles" to differentiate them since they didnt have plates and PCBs and weren't "allowed" (by our own rules) to be called DynaPaks.
We had good intentions and guidelines as to why we were making this separation, but in practice we saw that it was confusing. They just felt like the same thing to most people.
DYNAPAK & DYNAPAK PLUS
So we changed the rules, since we can. Now, a "DynaPak" is the brown pre-kitted box that has all the *switch parts* you need for a build, not including a plate or PCB; replacing the term "Bundle". What was previously a "DynaPak" with the plate and PCB included is now called a "DynaPak Plus". We know everyone is putting "plus" after their name, but for us this conveys exactly what we need it to. It's a DynaPak PLUS a plate and PCB. Truly *everything* you need.
With this new naming, you now know very easily what you're looking at. We believe this will make shopping with us easier than it already was! We appreciate all the honest feedback from this community that gives us the opportunity to continue to improve the experience with the DynaCap brand.
DROPPING THE 75%/TKL DYNAPAK SKU
With DynaPaks, comes pre-kitting. With pre-kitting, comes decisions of how many in each variant to make. With 3 colors, 3 dome weights, and 3 layouts, we are looking at 27 different variations of the DynaPak and that is very difficult to make the right decisions and not have stock "held hostage" in a less popular DynaPak configuration when the popular one is sold out. So to make this a little easier, @clever.pixels had the genius idea to cut the 75%/TKL DynaPak. WHO DOES HE THINK HE IS, RIGHT?!
JK, the idea was to cut the pre-kitted 75%/TKL DynaPaks, because the only difference in them and the 60/65% is that they have 1 more box of 1u sliders, 1u housings, and domes. Three boxes. So the idea was to only kit 60/65% DynaPaks and then just offer a "75%/TKL Add-On kit" that you can order with the 60/65% DynaPak to create a 75%/TKL DynaPak. Genius.
HHKB DYNAPAK NAME CHANGE
Changed the name of the HHKB Bundle to "Integrated 60/65% DynaPak"

This isn't new new information, but we have yet to announce it officially. So here we go. You can now get 206g2 Lube Tubes and lube pens for your DynaCap wire lubing! Also all other lube pens are available on the DynaCap store.
Before anyone asks, the reason the other color 1u housings are not dry-lubed is because we still have some stuck from round 1 and we did not want to have to deal with the logistics of keeping the two versions separate.
Some other vendors are also restocking DynaPaks and/or individual parts.
We are also excited to announce KBDfans will be stocking DynaCap parts very soon!
