I've been in the hobby for a little over a year now and I've bought and sold 10+ keyboards as I've never felt like I had "the one," until now. The Bauer Lite is absolutely phenomenal. It's simple, clean, well engineered, and very affordable. You can really tell that there was a lot of time and energy put into making this board perfect. The typing feel is great, the sound profiles are great, the build quality is great, and on, and on; I could rave about it all day. The Vintage Ghost is the perfect match to the GMK Panels. It brings back all the memories of the 90s and my childhood. Clear Gameboys and N64s, Super Mario Sunshine, McDonalds Play Place, Legos, and so much more! Thanks for making such a wonderful board Omnitype.
I purchased the Solderable PCB so I could get the stepped caps option - the hot-swap PCB does not allow stepped caps. The PCB was packaged great and was of very high quality. I soldered switches and paired with a POM plate and all went as planned - all the keys worked straight away and the sound is delectable. I recommend the solderable plate to anyone who enjoys the build experience and also those who are looking for the aesthetics of stepped caps.
