Bauer Lite Plate

I bought an alu plate for my Bauer Lite build. It shipped extremely fast to the EU, only took 2 business days, if I recall correctly! That's faster than a lot of other shops take to just get the package out the door, very impressive! The plate itself is of great quality. I bought the "chalk" version. It looks great, and arrived undamaged. I was able to use it in my build without an issue, and it sounds fantastic paired with MX2A Nixies and a GMK keycap set. My only (minor) gripe is that the plate, at least in this finish, scratches extremely easily. I have to be extremely careful with the switch puller not to leave any marks on the plate. But it's not a huge issue since the scratches are invisible underneath the keycaps. I also don't know if there's any way to avoid this with this type of material and finish. Overall very happy with this part!

Also love the look of the brass plate in a clear board w/ GMK MV EXPO.
Really want to try the weight along with the brass plate, Bauer Lite-Heavy, dont forget to put in the foam like I did.

I ordered a red alu plate to upgrade my Bauer Lite. The color is stunning and it adds quite a bit of heft, both to the weight and sound of the board.

I also appreciate that there's an option to buy B stock plates at a lowered price, especially since the defect is just one misplaced standoff **** hole, which isn't a big deal when you consider that alu plates don't really need standoffs.

Im a die hard cherry mx on alu plate fan. This was the perfect extra to get my fix on the already stellar bauer lite. Not much to say other than you cant go wrong with cherry/Alu/GMK. Got the miscut and didnt notice any difference with not using one ****.

Quality is top notch! The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because I can’t use a large number of switches due to the plate tolerance being too loose. The HMX switches I have on hand are too loose to use with hotswap. Otherwise, I love the extra heft the plate provides!

They work although is miscut. Just skip the standoff.

It help with making the board sound louder

Very nice plate. Nothing too special, it’s an aluminum plate. What more could you ask for?

The Bauer Lite rage plate gives a sharp sound. Not to mention that the look is amazing when seen through the keyboard's transparent frame
