Isolation mount

The Bauer Lite plate is isolated from the other parts by being compressed between foam strips and rubber bumpers. This eliminates any rattle caused by vibrations between parts. Also known as "gasket mount".

STAINLESS-STEEL HARDWARE & THREADED INSERTS

Bauer Lite's custom stainless-steel threaded inserts and torx screws allow you to take your board apart time after time.

CUSTOMIZABLE

Mix-and-match extra tops, bottoms, and plates in a variety of different colors to create the perfect Bauer Lite colorway that is personal to you and your setup!

WHAT YOU NEED TO BUILD BAUER LITE

1. Bauer Lite Kit

Choose the color that speaks to you and the aesthetic you are wanting to achieve! This is where it all starts!

2. Switches

Switches are where you really get to customize the feel and sound of your board!

3. Stabilizers

The spacebar needs one 7u stab. You'll also need two 2u stabs for split-backspace or three 2u stabs for full-backspace.

4. Keycaps

VIA PROGRAMMING SOFTWARE

With your board plugged in, visit to caniusevia.com and select your board to start programming. It is a browser-based program, so you can change your layout anywhere! You can also program your board with QMK.

Create your layout

You have the flexibility to customize any key to perform the specific functions you need. Plus, you can even set up macros for tasks you frequently use. And hey, let's not forget, you can also have some fun and add in a few memes along the way. Let's make your keyboard work for you in the best way possible!

Change your backspace

If you are planning to use a full-backspace layout, go to the second table on the sidebar and turn on the full-backspace option! You will then see your layout change at the top!

Breakaway backspace plate design

The Bauer Lite plate is designed to support both full and split-backspace options without the normal compromises of your switch being crooked from the lack of proper support. We achieved this with a unique breakaway plate design. By default, the plate supports split-backspace, but just break off the center support with some pliers to use full-backspace!
