This is by far one of the best keyboards I’ve ever used. Paired it with Gateron Smoothies and GMK DMG for an amazing sound and feel. Will be buying another one for sure.
This is my favorite keyboard, and I have a lotta' keyboards.
I would say this is one of the better budget build kits. I am a sucker for transparent technology; this hits something fierce.

Built up my Seafoam with the classics: Alpaca switches, lubed and filmed, Alpaca themed stabs, and GMK Modo Light. Looks good, Sounds good. Looking forward to upgrading to an Alu plate, and maybe a weight if those come back in stock. Might go with a different color base or top, too. It's a very fun keyboard. Straightforward to assemble, great quality. I'll go into specifics on the things that were troublesome during assembly and prevent me from giving a full 5/5:
1) Taco Bumpers slipped easily during assembly. After 3 assembly attempts, I still have one that is askew, and another fell off completely and is just sitting at the bottom of the case.
2) 2 of the Donut bumpers kept falling off when inverting the assembly, so I had to get creative trying to get the two halves fitted together... a little awkward when the top is supposed to tilt and snap into place. Managed to get it to work, though.
I'm a DIYer, so it's not too bad. I've built more tricky keyboards before, without good instructions. I'm just a little surprised the rubber pieces have such a loose fit. That's really the only reason the build was tricky - trying to keep the bumpers from all falling out.
Sorry for the late response. But I noticed you were having trouble with your build. We have a very thorough build guide that should give you everything you needed to build and answer basically any questions like you this you would have had.
Both of the problems you are having will be solved if you follow the build guide and build the board upside down; without every turning over the top housing. The board is meant to be build that way for the plate to stay within the alignment tabs with the taco bumpers.
Lightweight and fun to assemble! The colors are so unique and fun to pair with different sets. Grabbed an IRL Edition off eBay and loved it so much that I've since grabbed Atomic, Rouge and Seafoam as well! Eyeing up Cosmo next and hoping that someday we get a bright green like the old Donkey Kong N64!
I was an absolute novice but really wanted a Keyboard to match the Atomic Purple keycaps I found. While sharing with folks on Reddit I was introduced to the Bauer Lite and took the leap. For me it was like building Legos as a child!
Just a great purchase overall. Shipping was very fast.
