OTC Modo® Light
Modo® Light is one of our most popular colorways to date and for good reason. The soft gray base accompanied by three different accents colors makes this an extremely versatile set to own. It will work on nearly any board you throw at it! OTC brings you this modern classic in thick PBT, with crisp dye-sub legends and extensive compatibility at a great price! Both kits have support for standard fullsize, TKL, 1800, 75%, 65%, 60%, HHKB, Alice, basic ISO and basic 40%.

The Modo Light keycaps are lovely. Initially, the keycaps were installed on a Keychron C3 Pro, but the spacing between the 6.5u spacebar and the other keys on the row was uneven. The gaps between the spacebar and each Alt key were very small, while the gaps between the other keys on the row were a bit larger than the gaps between any other keys on the board. I decided to switch them over to a recently built Daring Run DR-70f configured with a 7u spacebar and found the gaps to be much more consistent. The Modo Light keycaps look great and compliment the anodized silver finish of the case. With these keycaps, not only is the DR-70F easy on the eyes, but the keyboard is a delight to type on given the smoothly rough texture of the keycaps. Indeed, they are the icing on the cake* (i.e., the case). Admittedly, I felt a little guilty for having picked these up on sale during one of Omnitype's Happy Hours, but I am very happy I did. Thank you for the keycaps, Omnitype!
Beautiful set of keycaps.
Keycaps are thick and sound great. Spacebar was straight and like the new black accent keys that weren’t in the previous version. Matches my Logitech anywhere 3 mouse! Only negative is they’re a bit slippery when typing.
This is really good alternative for those who missed GMK MoDo Light and don't want to pay aftermarket prices. For a fraction of the price you can get a very similar colorway in PBT instead of ABS. Due to the difference between PBT and ABS, the colors aren't exactly the same, but nevertheless look very aesthetic. I'd say this set is definitely worth it :)
Love that this set is now available in PBT for a lower cost! Definitely not flawless compared to GMK, but the imperfections are nearly not noticeable, unless pointed out with a very close eye.
Colors look great, and haven't had any shine since first typing on them around 6 months ago.
Awesome look and build quality. However if your keyboard has costar stabilizers and has OEM-profile keycaps as a default, you may experience space bar problems with this set. In my case, I had to revert to the default space bar.
I’m waiting for my envoy base from mode, so I haven’t used the Key Caps yet. But I took them out to look at them and when I grabbed them out of the box my goofy ahhh didn’t realize there was two layers and the bottom layer fell and spilled the caps on the ground. I spent the next hour picking them up and trying to place them in the right spot. The caps look good, I’m just a bozo
It's come in disarray and delivery is late.
The V2 has better legend alignments especially when it comes to the number row.
The color is nice, and I like the sound and feel of it.
Many double shot keycap sets tend to generate unpleasant noise when typing (probably with the only exception of GMKs), but OTC Modo Light does an excellent job in this regard, too.
It’s great that you include Mac modifiers in the kit but why only 2u key sizes? Many popular keyboards such as the Mode Sonnet use 1u or 1.5u. The Mac has never been more popular. This was an unecessary shortcoming and you could have charged extra for an add-on kit if necessary.
